Our Volunteer Programs Abroad encourage students to put their newly learned or improved Spanish skills to use in the country where they've chosen to study abroad. It's a wonderful opportunity to get involved in your community and help the people who warmly welcome you into their culture from the moment you arrive.
These programs are designed for students who have already completed a 4-week Intensive Spanish Course. Once completed, the minimum duration for the Volunteer Program is 4 weeks.*
In Antigua, you may sign up for a special program, "Un Poco de Todo" ("A Little of Everything"), which integrates 3 weeks of group classes, a home stay, volunteering 2-4 afternoons per week and weekend excursions.

*The Vounteer Program in Coronado, Costa Rica has a course & duration requisite of 2 weeks instead of 4.
