Spanish Courses & Schools:

Do teachers speak English during the lessons?

Generally, NO. Not all of our students are English speakers - they come from all over the world - and many teachers do not speak English. At the lower levels, however, some teachers may offer explanations in English. We strongly believe (and it has been proven by numerous studies) that full immersion is the best way to learn a language.

Where do the students in your Spanish schools come from?

Spanish in the World is proud to offer courses in an international atmosphere. With students from more than 52 countries, you're guaranteed a multicultural, diverse and open environment.

Can I change my level once I have started my course?

Generally - YES. Just inform the Director of Studies at the school and they will move you to a more suitable level, although our placement tests tend to be highly accurate.

YES, All courses come with a certificate of attendance.

YES, of course. You can book as little or as much with Spanish in the Spanish World as you want, with the option of doing the rest by yourself or through other companies.

Do you offer courses for children?

YES. Spanish in the World provides courses at Summer Camps in Spain for young adults and children... find out more about our summer camps in Spain.

Most of our schools in Latin America will only take students 18 yrs and up, but there may be exceptions to the rule, so don't hestitate to ask.

Many of our schools in Spain offer year-round programs for Juniors and Teenagers (13 - 18 yrs old). We also place teenagers in Spanish high schools. A parent/ guardian must always give their consent for these programs.

If you wish to bring your child with you while you take a Spanish course it may be possible for them to participate as well, depending on course availability and the matury level of the student. Private lessons are ALWAYS an option, and there may be special children's classes as well.

Please contact us regarding your specific request.

Payment & Online Discounts:

Isn't it cheaper for me to book directly with the Spanish language school?

Spanish in the World offers you courses at the same price as you would pay if you booked directly with the school. We make our living by receiving a commission from the schools. In fact, in many cases our prices are lower than those offered directly by the schools because we can obtain special prices due to the large numbers of students that we send. For example, you will receive a 50% discount on the application fee when you book online. We also offer discounts on long duration courses.

Do you offer discounts for groups?

YES, for groups of 8 or more people learning in the same location at the same time. Find out more about our Special Groups Programs!

For late bookings, it will be necessary to pay by credit or debit card. You can send us your details online via our secure server or by telephone or fax. You should never send your credit card details in a normal e-mail. ONLY USE OUR SECURE SERVER!
