This Spanish + History course is designed for those students who have already reached an intermediate level of Spanish and can express themselves comfortably in everyday situations. It provides a wonderful opportunity for you to expand your studies, improve your professional language skills and obtain a more complete understanding of Spanish culture.
The Iberian Peninsula has been home to a wide variety of civilizations, and we'll learn all about them. From the Romans to the Visigoths to the Middle Ages of 3 religiones (Judaism, Christianity & Islam), this region was extremely diverse until the unification of Spain under the Catholic Kings. From there we'll look at the Inquisition, the discovery of the Americas and the Hapsburg & Bourbon dynasties.
