Summer Camp Transportation & Services

ARRIVAL BY AIR
If your child or teen is arriving at the airports in Barcelona, Granada, Málaga (for Marbella camps), Madrid (for Madrid and Salamanca camps), Seville or Valencia and you have requested an airport pick-up for him or her to one of the camps, please write to us at least a week in advance and provide the following:

If you request a private transfer, a staff member from Spanish in the World will greet your child or teen just outside of the customs area carrying a sign with your child's name and the logo of the camp. An emergency number will be provided to you ahead of time in the event that there are any last-minute changes.

ARRIVAL BY CAR
If you are going to be in Spain and would like to bring your child to his or her first day of camp (always on a Sunday), please feel free to do so anytime after 12:00 pm. If you wish to pick up your child at the end of his or her camp session (always on a Saturday), please let your child know the time you plan to pick them up and do so between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

BUS SERVICE
On the first day of each two-week session, Spanish in the World provides a bus service from Madrid to our camps in Granada, Marbella, Salamanca, Sevilla and Valencia. We will pick students up from the airport and transport them to the Santiago Bernabeú football stadium, from which the buses leave. Students should arrive at the Madrid airport before 9:00am on that first day in order to use this service.

DAY CAMP BUS
For participants in our day camp program, we offer a daily bus route at each of our camps. As long as five students request the service, the bus will pick students up in the morning and drop them off in the afternoon.
