A Spanish or Latin American Home Stay provides the student an unparalleled opportunity to discover the culture of the destination they have chosen to learn Spanish. By participating in the typical meals, traditions and day-to-day activities of their family, the student will gain a greater knowledge of all aspects of the local way of life. Furthermore, since the host family speaks in Spanish 100% of the time, the participant will inevitably improve their language skills.
Our families have been carefully selected to ensure that the student's experience be as enjoyable and enriching as possible. We go out of our way to pick families that make the student will feel 'at home.' What's more, the majority of our families have been taking in students for years and are accustomed to accommodating the student's needs.
The host family's apartment is always in the proximity of the Spanish school (20-30 minutes walking or by public transport), even in big cities like Madrid, Barcelona and Buenos Aires. You may choose between the following options, depending on the destination (see school pages for details):
The school will never place you with another student that speaks the same language as you unless specifically requested. If you are a vegetarian, have allergies or other special needs, we will do our best to make the necessary arrangements.
